The BWF ladies ended the year with a lovely day out on Saturday 25th May at Montalto Estate. We spent a few hours wandering around the beautiful gardens and trails, getting our steps up and enjoying the beautiful weather we were blessed with. We had a lovely lunch together and some of us couldn’t resist the temptation of purchasing some lovely plants and gifts in the shop.
We have been really encouraged this year in BWF with excellent speakers, who have shared how God has blessed their lives and continues to reveal His plans for them. A group of women also undertook the Baptist Women ‘Rooted in Christ’ course. This was a 10 week course covering topics such as prayer, daily Bible reading, forgiveness, temptation, assurance, doubts, God’s Will, sharing the gospel and various aspects of personal discipleship. The final evening concluded with each of us sharing our testimony. We could all relate to the goodness of God in our lives.
We look forward to what God has in store for us in September. All ladies welcome young and not so young!
