Light Night
Light Night
What an astonishing evening we had with 356 in attendance at our Light Night on 31st October 2025!
The evening was packed with activities throughout the church buildings. These included pumpkin ring toss, firework painting, pumpkin painting, games, conquer & chopsticks, apple & chocolate dipping, balloon modelling and bouncy castles to name a few. Outside we had hot chocolate, s’mores and an ice cream van.
Peter Bittle led a 10 minute epilogue and we finished with a fireworks display by Emerald Fireworks. Each child took home a Bag of Hope.
We were truly blessed in having such huge numbers attending but also in the weather as the last person left it just started to rain. An amazing answer to prayer considering the weather earlier in the day.
We say a huge word of thanks to all the volunteers who worked to prepare the building and tidy up, helped directly with children and parents, and worked behind the scenes to make the night possible. Your labour in the Lord is not in vain.
We are so thankful to God for his providence in it all. He clearly showed his blessing on the night. We continue to pray that the seed sown will be fruitful for God’s glory.
