On Easter Sunday at 7am a large crowd of around 150 met in Moira Demesne to greet the sunrise and give thanks for the resurrection of the Lord Jesus from the dead. All of the local churches were represented and took part in the service with Pastor Jonny Dodds of Moira Baptist bringing a short concluding word.
After the service, everyone made their way to Moira Baptist Church hall for a lovely breakfast prepared by the Catering Team.
