Simon was Youth Pastor in Moira Baptist in  2015  and later became Pastor from 2018 until 2020. That year he recognised the call of God to undertake further theological training. He enrolled with The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Kentucky, initially studying from home and then in 2021 moving to Louisville where they continue to study and serve the Lord.
